Where to put a drink on a concert blanket
Keep the drink within comfortable reach, fully supported and outside the paths used by feet and moving blankets.

Start from where you sit
Sit down first and identify a spot beside you that you can reach without twisting or reaching across a friend. Keep the drink away from the route people use to enter or leave. A drink centered in the picnic food or behind your back may be visible but inconvenient.
Check what is underneath
Smooth folds in the blanket and inspect the supporting ground. The whole base needs stable, level support. Grass tufts, dips, loose fabric and a slope can leave a drink leaning or rocking. Do not use Steadi to bridge an uneven patch. A blanket hides contours; it does not remove them.
Leave room for the holder and your hand
Steadi is 5.2 inches across. Leave additional clearance for fingers and the movement of knees and feet. Keep food bags, spare clothing and cooler straps from pressing against the drink. Use the space check on the homepage as a dimension check, not a surface guarantee.
Reset the spot when the activity changes
Pick up the drink before standing, dancing, moving seats or pulling the blanket. Do not leave an open drink in a walking path when everyone rises. Steadi does not attach to the ground and is not protection from being kicked.
A cooler lid is a temporary surface
Only use a level, stable closed lid with enough flat area for the entire base. A domed, soft or moving lid is unsuitable. Remove the drink before someone opens or moves the cooler. If access is frequent, choose a different spot.
